CEO Shaun Hauser emphasizes the value of transparent communication with their board and the importance of technological advancements.
“Our board doesn’t like surprises and as an executive committee, we don’t like surprises. We choose to overcommunicate and that has proven to be very beneficial, as the management team gains a lot of wisdom from the board. And in turn, the board is lock in step with the management team.”
Another rising talent recognized in past awards is Aaron Menon of Howe Harrell & Associates. Known for his work with high-earning millennials and the children of legacy clients, Menon takes a proactive approach to client relationships, often asking satisfied clients for referrals to expand his reach.
“I’ve never been shy to ask a client, who I’ve helped, if one of their colleagues would enlist my services,” he shares. “I try to position myself as the quarterback of my client’s financial life. I meet with them and their accountants on a regular basis and having that team working toward a common goal is so valuable.”
