Getting Started with the Mightycause WordPress Plugin
Ready to take your online fundraising to the next level? Check out the steps below on how to activate the Mightycause WordPress integration/plugin!
Head to your WordPress dashboard
- Log into your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to your Plugins section, search for “Mightycause” or utilize this direct link.
Click “Activate”
Go to your Mightycause dashboard
- Login to your Mightycause organization page dashboard. On your org page dashboard, go to the “Fundraising Tools” → “Widgets”.
- At the top right of the page, click “Install on WordPress”.
- Click “Continue”
- Copy your Token/unique code.
Head back to your WordPress dashboard
On your WordPress dashboard, go to the “Settings” → “Mightycause Widgets” to finish configuring the plugin.
On the widget settings page, paste your unique code into the “Mightycause Token” field and click “Save Changes”.
Once your token is inserted and saved, the widgets you have created on Mightycause are now synced to your WordPress page editor!
Insert the plugin on your post or page
- To insert the plugin, you will need to have Block Editor enabled. On your WordPress post or page, click on the + Block Inserter icon.
- Through your WordPress Block Library search for “Mightycause.” Select Mightycause Donation Form.
- On the right-hand side, you will see Block Settings. Under SELECT FORM, select the widget you would like displayed. Once selected, you will see your widget on the page.
