Deciding if a Costco Membership Offer is right for you:
The Gold Star Membership is $60 per year and the least expensive option. However, it’s more like $20 when you factor in the $40 bonus gift card!
Costco very rarely, if ever, offers a discount on their membership prices… however, they will incentivize with gift cards.
The main benefit of the $120 Executive Membership is a 2% reward on all Costco purchases. Depending on your spending habits, you might be able to earn enough rewards to recoup your entire membership cost. However, even if you don’t spend enough to recoup your costs, you get a check, up to $60, for whatever cost you don’t recoup each year — making the Executive Membership essentially the same price as the Gold Star.
